Collections
Collections are curated sets of media you create from AI search results or by hand. Use them to group related content without moving files out of your Library.
Create a Collection
On web:
- Open Library.
- Use the AI search bar to find media by description (e.g., "sunset photos" or "product shots").
- Review the matching results.
- Click Save as Collection.
- Enter a name and confirm.
You can also click New Collection from the Collections page, then add items manually.
On mobile:
- Tap the Collections section on the Home screen, or navigate to Library → Collections.
- Tap the + button in the header.
- Enter a collection name in the bottom sheet.
- Tap Create.
Browse a Collection
- Open Collections from the sidebar (web) or Home screen (mobile).
- Tap or click a collection card to view its contents.
- Each card shows the collection name, item count, and a cover thumbnail.
Add Items to a Collection
On web:
- Open a collection.
- Click Add Items or drag media from your Library into the collection.
On mobile:
- Open a collection.
- Use the add action to select items from your Library.
Remove Items from a Collection
- Open the collection.
- Select the item you want to remove.
- Choose Remove from Collection.
Removing an item from a collection does not delete it from your Library. The original file stays where it is.
Rename or Delete a Collection
On web:
- Open Collections.
- Click the … menu on a collection card.
- Choose Rename or Delete.
On mobile:
- Long-press a collection card.
- Choose Rename or Delete from the context menu.
Deleting a collection only removes the grouping — the media inside is not deleted from your Library.
Share a Collection
- Open the collection you want to share.
- Tap or click Share.
- Choose Share Public (anyone with the link can view) or Share with People (invite specific contacts by email).
See [Sharing](./sharing.md) for more details on each sharing mode.
