Getting Started

Stashii is available on web (any modern browser), iOS (App Store), and Android (Google Play). Your account and content sync across all platforms.

Create Your Account

Open the Stashii sign-up page or download the mobile app.
Enter your email and choose a password.
Check your inbox for a verification email and confirm your account.
Log in.

You can also sign in with Google where available.

Verify Your Phone Number

When you create a new account, Stashii asks you to verify a phone number. This is a quick, one-time check that confirms you're a real person and helps keep Stashii free of spam and abuse.

Choose your country, then enter your phone number.
Tap Send code — we'll text you a 6-digit code.
Enter the code and tap Verify.

You'll then continue straight to setup. If you joined from a workspace invite, you won't be asked to verify — the invite already vouches for you.

Standard message and data rates may apply. Your number is used only for verification and security, never for marketing.

Complete Onboarding

After signing up, Stashii walks you through a short two-step setup (the same on web and mobile).

Step 1 — Your details: Enter your first and last name, name your workspace, and choose your workspace URL (slug). Accept the terms to continue.

Step 2 — What brings you to Stashii? Pick what you want to do first (for example: organize your shoots, share with clients, or build a Space). This tailors your getting-started experience.

After setup

Free trial: New workspaces start with a 14-day Pro trial — no credit card required, once per workspace. When it ends, your workspace reverts to Free unless you upgrade.
Getting Started checklist: Your dashboard shows a short checklist — upload your first files, create a Space, try Ask Stashii, and get the mobile app — to help you get set up quickly.

What Is a Workspace?

A workspace is your private environment in Stashii. It contains your Library, Projects, Spaces, People, and Settings. Everything you upload belongs to your workspace and is private until you choose to share it.

Explore the Dashboard

Your dashboard gives quick access to your key areas:

Media count — total files uploaded
Projects — collaborative workspaces
Spaces — public pages you have published
People — collaborators and contacts in your workspace
Recent uploads — quick access to your latest files

On mobile, the Home screen shows sections for recent uploads, collections, and projects. Tap See all on any section to view the full list.

Upload Your First File

On web:

Go to Library.
Click Upload or drag and drop files onto the page.
Select one or more files from your device.
Optionally add tags before uploading.
Track progress in the upload tray.

On mobile:

Go to Library.
Tap Import in the header.
Select photos or videos from your device's media library, or pick files.
Optionally tag items before uploading.
Tap Upload.

Stashii supports images (JPG, PNG, HEIC, WebP, GIF, and more), videos (MP4, MOV), documents (PDF, DOCX), audio (MP3, WAV), and raw photos (DNG, CR2, ARW). See [Library](./library.md) for the full list.

Share Your First File

In Library, select a file or folder.
Tap or click Share.
Choose a sharing mode:

- Public link — anyone with the link can view

- People — invite specific contacts by email

Create Your First Space

On web:

Open Spaces from the sidebar.
Click New Space.
Enter a name and click Create.
Start adding content blocks in the editor.

On mobile:

Open the Spaces tab.
Tap the + button.
Enter a name and tap Create.
Start adding content blocks.
